The Thorny Goat

"This is our first 'Cross Breed,' a collaboration brew with the UK's Thornbridge Brewery. Thornbridge is way over in Derbyshire, north of London. They're a brewery that likes pushing the boundaries, doesn't believe in bland beer, and who revel in the creation of beers that are out-of-the-ordinary. They kinda remind us of us.

Their production manager, Caolan Vaughn came out a few weeks ago and did the brew with us. We combined an English malt idea with all-ANZAC hops - Tasmanian Galaxy, and NZ Motueka and Nelson Sauvin to be specific.

It's just this side of pitch black, comes in at 6.8% alc/vol, and has a strikingly hoppy aroma. Definitely a beer to share and savour with your bestest beer buddy."
